โLetโs put a smile on their faces because they have paid their dues!โ๐โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธAn initiative for The Aged!๐โWe had a splendid time as Conservatives Friends of Africa Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ celebrates Robert Burns Day at Garvie & Co. Restaurant, hosting Milngavie Manor Care Home!โ residents, elderly members of CFOAS and other special friends. The poetry recitals were fantastic with the Selkirk Grace said by one of Milngavie Manor Residents adorned with the most beautiful tartan. Norman MacLeod Treasurer CFOAS read some of Robert Burns poetry recitals and Josephine, Chair CFOAS attempted and read/sang Robert Burns poetry and songs written in Scot language, rustic but good attempt complimented members of her table.๐คฉ๐โค๏ธโฅ๏ธ๐Very enjoyable indeed. Everyone had a ball! Thanks to Elaine Fleming of Foils Milngavie for the beautiful well presented gifts she selected and boxed for everyone, Evelyn Griffin of Tesco Superstore Milngavie community champion for her support and excellent community work, Morag and her volunteers for chaperoning our elderly from Milngavie Manor Care Home, Prince Kelly Udebhulu, CFOAS Executive Board Membership for being our master of ceremony and recording the event, Rena & Gordon Campbell, Avril Salt for their continued support, Tahir Mahmood for being a dedicated member of Conservative Friends of Africa Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ, our renowned South African artist in residence Johann Booyens for his artistic touch to the event. Conservatives Friends of Africa Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ had a very enjoyable, memorable and uplifting end of the year celebration ๐!
The event was well attended by youth, adults, elders and Executive board members!
Good will messages were sent by absent Executives, vice chairman Bonus Fombo, Mabel Akomu Oboh. We had a goodwill message also from Chairman Parent body, Conservatives Friends of Africa, Councillor Michael Gbadebo and all our patrons including Councillor Davida Ademuyiwa, Kayode Sofola(SAN).
The event took place at Taste of Home, African Restaurant Glasgow, Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ, United Kingdom ๐ฌ๐ง, Victoria the Proprietress delighted us with a vast array of very delicious African foods & beverages. Executive Prince Kelly G. P Udebhulu did an excellent job making sure the event ran smoothly.
Executive Oyebola Ajala made a great speech on the values of the Conservative Party supported by Executive Chair Josephine Oboh-Macleod for the Scottish Conservatives.
Executives Humphrey Ebowemen & Norman MacLeod and others pledged their financial support for next event to be announced later.
Executive Olivia Ndoti International relations/womenโs affairs was presented special gifts for her graduating with honours from a Scottish University and continuing with a masters degree.
There were Christmas gifts to the elderly and our champion youth and others.
We had lovely entertainment from Glasgow superstar Sean Reid.
Special thanks to Executive Welfare, John Osehi Osagie for donating a freezer to one of our elderly members to combat Cost of Crises.
It was wonderful and memorable event to remembered for prosperity. Well done everybody & thank you to all our wonderful supporters!!!

A big thank you to Edo Community Art & Culture Scotland United Kingdom (Edo Cac Scotland ) for a fantastic and entertaining, enjoyable End of Year Celebrations!It was a beautiful array showcasing some of Edo Culture & Heritage. Impressive Outfits and adornments included.The ambience was great, food was delicious, plenty assortment of beverages and fantastic music and dancing. I was so moved and ended up dancing Esan traditional dance steps called Ojeike. ๐๐ฝ ๐บ๐ฟ . Well done ๐๐พ to all the Executives, Edo Women, youth & children and others that organised and supported this great occasion!!!๐ค๐๐พโฅ๏ธ๐ฏโ ๐๐ฝ
